1 cup dry lentils, rinsed
2 slices bacon, diced
½ cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
½ cup chopped carrots
8 cups water
2 cups canned tomatoes
1 bay leaf
6 frankfurters, sliced
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Saute bacon and onion.
