Steps:
- Add lemon slices to a large pitcher, then the apples and strawberries. (I love this pitcher which seals airtight and fits easily into narrow refrigerator spaces.)
- Pour the wine and rum over the top.
- Cover and place in the refrigerator for 4 - 5 hours.
- Remove from refrigerator and add the lemon lime soda. Add a few pieces of the fruit to your glass and pour sangria over to serve.
- Leftovers keep for a day or so, but you likely won't have any! :)

LEMON SANGRIA
Love Sangria, here is one that is a little different....Very yummy. I hope that you will enjoy this version. Another treasure from the Community Cookbook, it is very refreshing on a hot day. *Please Note* There is no cooking time but the sangria must sit over night in the fridge to chill and blend.

Steps:
- Bring the sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat, and stir in the cilantro. Let cool, then transfer the syrup to a 3-quart pitcher.
- Add the wine, liqueur, lemon soda and soda water to the pitcher, and stir to combine. Add the lemons, and cover the pitcher with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the sangria to chill, at least 4 hours up to overnight.
- To serve, fill 8 glasses halfway with ice, then pour the sangria and lemons into each glass.
Tips:
- Select ripe and juicy lemons. This will ensure the sangria has a bright, citrusy flavor.
- Use a variety of fruits. This will add color, flavor, and texture to the sangria.
- Don't be afraid to experiment with different types of wine. A light, fruity wine is a good choice, but you can also use a sparkling wine or even a red wine.
- Let the sangria sit for at least 2 hours before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the sangria chilled. This will make it even more refreshing.
Conclusion:
Lemon sangria is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. So next time you are looking for a party-pleasing drink, give lemon sangria a try. You won't be disappointed!
