Tips:

  • Choose the right pasta. Bow ties are a great choice for this recipe because they hold the sauce well and have a fun shape. However, you could also use other short pastas like penne or rotini.
  • Use fresh ingredients. Fresh basil and lemon zest really make this dish shine. If you can, try to buy them from a farmers market or local grocery store.
  • Don't overcook the pasta. Cook the pasta until it is al dente, or slightly firm to the bite. This will help it to hold its shape and texture in the sauce.
  • Make the sauce ahead of time. The sauce can be made up to 3 days in advance. This makes it a great option for a quick and easy weeknight meal.
  • Serve immediately. This dish is best served immediately after it is made. The pasta will start to absorb the sauce and become soggy if you wait too long.

This lemon basil bow ties recipe is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for any occasion. It is made with fresh ingredients and is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
