Leftover Roast Beef Bar-B-Que Sandwich Filling image

This is usually what I do with leftover roast beef since we can never seem to finish eating a whole one. Amounts are just a guesstiment since it depends on how much you have leftover. Making it this way, it seems like your not having the same dish 2 nights in a row.

Tips:

  • For the best results, use leftover roast beef that is at least 1 day old. This will allow the flavors to develop and the beef to become more tender.
  • If you don't have any leftover roast beef, you can cook a roast specifically for this recipe. Just be sure to let it cool completely before shredding it.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of barbecue sauce you use to suit your taste. If you like a more saucy sandwich, add more sauce. If you prefer a less saucy sandwich, use less sauce.
  • You can also add other ingredients to your sandwich, such as cheese, onion, or pickles. Just be sure to choose ingredients that will complement the flavor of the roast beef and barbecue sauce.
  • Serve your barbecue sandwiches immediately, or store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
