Tips:

  • Use fresh lavender flowers for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh flowers, you can use dried lavender buds, but reduce the amount to 1 tablespoon.
  • Don't overcook the lavender in the milk. Remove it from the heat as soon as it starts to simmer.
  • Let the mixture cool completely before churning. This will help the ice cream set up properly.
  • If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can still make this ice cream. Pour the mixture into a metal bowl and freeze it for 2 hours. Then, take it out of the freezer and beat it with a hand mixer until it is smooth and creamy. Repeat this process every 30 minutes until the ice cream is set.
  • Serve the ice cream immediately or store it in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

This lavender ice cream is a delicious and refreshing treat that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make, even if you don't have an ice cream maker. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give this lavender ice cream a try. You won't be disappointed!
