KRAFT'S FANTASY FUDGE

Kraft's Fantasy Fudge image

I worked for Kraft for 2 years. But for three Holiday Seasons. My first year a rep told me about the recipe on the back of Jet-Puff's Jar. Super easy so if you don't remember to bring the recipe to the store to buy all the ingredients you know exactly where to find it. Plus it is demanded on Christmas Eve!

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 c sugar
3/4 c butter, room temperature
5 oz evaporated milk
1 1/2 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 jar(s) jet puff marshmallow creme (7 ounces)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c chopped walnuts - optional

Steps:

  • 1. LINE 9-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan; set aside. Place sugar, butter and evaporated milk in large heavy saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4 min. or until candy thermometer reaches 234°F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat.
  • 2. ADD chocolate and marshmallow creme; stir until completely melted. Add vanilla (you can add walnuts if you like your fudge with nuts); mix well.
  • 3. POUR immediately into prepared pan; spread to form even layer in pan. Let stand at room temperature 4 hours or until completely cooled; cut into 1-inch squares. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

Tips:

  • Use a heavy-bottomed saucepan: This will help to prevent the fudge from burning.
  • Don't overcook the fudge: Overcooked fudge will be grainy and hard.
  • Let the fudge cool completely before cutting it: This will help to prevent the fudge from crumbling.
  • Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator: Fudge will keep for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
  • If you want a richer fudge, use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate.
  • To make the fudge even more decadent, add chopped nuts, dried fruit, or marshmallows.

Conclusion:

Kraft Fantasy Fudge is a classic dessert that is easy to make and loved by people of all ages. With its creamy, chocolatey goodness, it's the perfect treat for any occasion. Whether you're making it for a party, a potluck, or just to enjoy at home, this fudge is sure to be a hit.
