salt to taste
2 tablespoons butter
⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 pkg (10 oz.) kohlrabi noodles (or home prepared)
1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
salt & pepper to taste
2 Tbsp coarsely chopped fresh parsley
1/4 c grated fresh parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Heat olive oil in pan.
  • 2. Add Kholrabi noodles. Salt & pepper to taste. Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the top.
  • 3. Saute in pan for 5 minutes until tender.
  • 4. Sprinkle with coarsley chopped parsley and parmesan cheese.

Tips:

  • Choose the right kohlrabi. Look for firm, smooth kohlrabis that are about the size of a tennis ball. Avoid any that are bruised or have soft spots.
  • Peel the kohlrabi before using it. Use a sharp knife or vegetable peeler to remove the tough outer skin.
  • Cut the kohlrabi into thin noodles. You can use a spiralizer, mandoline, or sharp knife to do this. If you're using a knife, be careful to cut the kohlrabi into even, thin strips.
  • Sauté the kohlrabi noodles over medium heat. Add a little bit of oil or butter to a large skillet or wok. Once the oil or butter is hot, add the kohlrabi noodles and sauté until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season the kohlrabi noodles to taste. You can use a variety of seasonings, such as salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, or chili powder.
  • Serve the kohlrabi noodles immediately. They can be served as a side dish or main course. You can also add them to soups, salads, or stir-fries.

Conclusion:

Kohlrabi noodles are a healthy and delicious low-carb alternative to traditional pasta. They are easy to make and can be used in a variety of dishes. If you're looking for a new way to enjoy kohlrabi, give these recipes a try. You won't be disappointed!
