Kiski Ala Mini Ham Loaves: A Filipino Delight

This dish is typically served with a dipping sauce, such as ketchup or banana ketchup, and steamed rice. In this article, we'll explore two variations of kiski ala mini ham loaves: the classic version and a modern take with added vegetables. Both recipes are easy to follow and make a delicious and satisfying meal.
MINI HAM LOAVES
This is a family favorite. My aunt used to make them every Easter. The recipe comes from an old church cookbook. Whenever I order the meat from the meat market, I order ground ham and pork from a local meat market premixed. I order triple the meat required, packaged into three packages, give one to my mother, use one, and freeze one to use later. Serve these with horseradish.

MINIATURE HAM LOAVES
When there's a special dinner coming, Mom will usually prepare these scrumptious loaves several days in advance and freeze them. Then she only needs to bake them before dinner. We all anticipate their wonderful aroma and flavor. -Alyson Armstrong, Parkersburg, West Virginia

KISKI ALA MINI HAM LOAVES
I formerly belonged to the Kiski Twp Unit of the American Legion Auxiliary...this was a favorite recipe used to serve at dinners held there. You can increase measurements to make this for a larger group. The optional dressing was not used there, I came up with that one.
