LEFTOVER ROAST SANDWICHES
Looking for something different to do with your leftover beef roast? Here is an easy sandwich. My Mom used to make this all the time when I was younger & my siblings & I loved it. I've never measured this, so everything is approximate. You can easily adjust this to make more or less, depending on the amount of meat that you have.

Steps:
- Put the your leftover roast in a meat grinder or food processor, grind until into small pieces.
- Put meat in a bowl and mix in all ingredients.
- Spread on bread & serve.
Tips:
- Choosing the Right Roast: Opt for a roast that is tender and flavorful, such as beef, pork, or chicken. Leftover pot roast, prime rib, or turkey would all be great options.
- Slicing the Roast: For a classic deli-style sub, thinly slice the roast against the grain. This will ensure a tender and flavorful bite.
- Selecting the Bread: Choose a sturdy bread that can hold up to the fillings, such as a hoagie roll, Italian bread, or baguette. Freshness is key here, so try to use bread that is baked on the same day.
- Preparing the Vegetables: Thinly slice the vegetables for easy layering. Consider using a mandoline for uniform slices.
- Layering the Ingredients: Start with a layer of sauce or dressing, followed by the sliced roast, cheese, vegetables, and any other desired toppings. Arrange the ingredients evenly to ensure every bite is packed with flavor.
- Toasting the Sub: For a golden-brown and crispy exterior, toast the sub in a panini press or on a griddle until the cheese is melted and gooey.
