4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup canola oil
3 cups chopped onion
2-3/4 cups water, divided
2 cups sliced celery
3 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
2 cans (15 ounces each) no-salt-added tomato sauce
1 jar (16 ounces) salsa
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt, optional
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
Shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese, reduced-fat sour cream, sliced green onions and sliced ripe olives, optional

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, saute steak and garlic in oil until browned. Add onion; cook and stir for 5 minutes. Stir in 2 cups water and next nine ingredients; bring to a boil. , Reduce heat; cover and simmer 2 hours or until tender. Combine flour, cornmeal and remaining water; stir until smooth. 1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 pound ground beef chuck, preferably coarse grind (see Cook's Note)
1 large yellow onion, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons tomato paste
1 1/2 cups low-sodium beef broth
One 28-ounce can whole peeled tomatoes, crushed
Two 15.5-ounce cans kidney beans, undrained
Sour cream, shredded Cheddar and sliced scallions, for serving

Steps:

2 red bell peppers, chopped
1 jalapeno, seeds removed, chopped
1 large white onion, chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin
2 teaspoons chopped chipotle chiles in adobo sauce
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Kosher salt and ground black pepper
One 28-ounce can tomato puree
One 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
1 cup lager-style beer
Two 16-ounce cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Steps:

  • Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over high heat and add the ground pork, ground bison and ground chuck; using the back of a wooden spoon, break up the meat into small pieces and cook until well browned, 10 to 12 minutes.

1 can chili
1 (8-ounce) package shredded Cheddar
1 green onion, sliced

  • Set up grill for direct cooking over medium heat. Oil grate when ready to start cooking. In a large bowl combine fries and chili seasoning, andtoss until well coated. Place fries on hot, oiled grill and grill for 4 minute. Turn and grill for another 5 minutes or until fries are crispy. While fries are on the grill add the chili to a medium saucepot over medium-low heat and bring to a simmer. Remove fries from the grill and place on a platter. 1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 Anaheim chile pepper, chopped
2 red jalapeno pepper, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 ½ pounds lean ground beef
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle light beer (such as Coors®)
1 (28 ounce) can crushed San Marzano tomatoes
1 (14.5 ounce) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
½ cup white wine
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon chipotle pepper sauce
2 ½ teaspoons dried basil
1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
