Categories     Pork

Time 8h10m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/3 cup kikkoman marinade or 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot
4 center-cut pork loin chops (I used boneless) or 4 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick trimmed of fat (I used boneless)

Steps:

  • Mix Kikkoman Teriyaki sauce, brown sugar and ginger together.
  • Place chops in crock pot.
  • Pour sauce over the chops.
  • Cook on low for 7 hours.
  • (edited d/t great reviews:).

Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops: Look for pork chops that are about 1 inch thick and have a good amount of marbling. This will ensure that the chops are tender and juicy.
  • Use a good quality soy sauce: Kikkoman soy sauce is a popular choice for this recipe, but you can use any brand that you like. Just make sure that it is a dark soy sauce, as this will give the chops a richer flavor.
  • Marinate the chops for at least 30 minutes: This will allow the flavors of the marinade to penetrate the meat and make the chops more flavorful. You can marinate the chops for longer if you have time, but 30 minutes is a good minimum.
  • Cook the chops over medium heat: This will help to prevent the chops from overcooking and becoming tough. You can cook the chops in a skillet or on a grill.
  • Baste the chops with the marinade while they are cooking: This will help to keep the chops moist and flavorful. You can also add some additional soy sauce or water to the skillet or grill if needed.
  • Serve the chops with your favorite sides: Rice, noodles, or vegetables are all great options.

Conclusion:

Kikkoman chops are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The chops are marinated in a flavorful soy sauce mixture and then cooked until tender and juicy. Serve the chops with your favorite sides and enjoy!
