### Tips - **Tenderize the meat:** Use a meat mallet or the back of a heavy knife to pound the beef tenderloin until it is about 1/2-inch thick. This will help to break down the connective tissue and make the meat more tender. - **Marinate the meat:** Marinating the beef tenderloin in a mixture of olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger will help to add flavor and moisture to the meat. - **Sear the meat:** Sear the beef tenderloin in a hot skillet over medium-high heat until it is browned on all sides. This will help to create a flavorful crust and lock in the juices. - **Cook the meat:** Transfer the seared beef tenderloin to a baking dish and cook in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes, or until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare. - **Let the meat rest:** Let the cooked beef tenderloin rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. This will help to redistribute the juices and make the meat more tender. ### Conclusion Kato's Spicy Beef Tenderloin is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion dinner. The beef tenderloin is tender and flavorful, and the spicy sauce is the perfect complement. Serve with rice or your favorite vegetables for a complete meal.
