Categories     Cheese     Chocolate     Dessert

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 package Oreo cookies
8 ounces Philly Cream cheese, softened (one 8 oz pkg)
1/2 cup Margarine or butter
1 cup Powdered sugar
16 ounces Cool Whip (one 16 oz tub)
2 box White chocolate (or vanilla) pudding -- used 2 boxes white chocolate
3 cups Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Steps:

  • Crush 2/3 of a package of oreo cookies, and place in bottom of 9"x13" pan. Set aside.
  • Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar, and fold in cool whip. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, mix pudding packets, milk and vanilla. Fold this mixture into cream cheese mixture. Pour over crumbs in pan.
  • Top with remaining 1/3 package of crushed oreo cookies. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will result in a better-tasting cake. If possible, use organic ingredients.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can result in a tough cake. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cake at the right temperature: The cake should be baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. If the oven is too hot, the cake will brown too quickly and the inside will be undercooked. If the oven is too cool, the cake will take too long to bake and the inside will be dry.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it: This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
  • Use a variety of toppings: The toppings are what make this cake so special. Be creative and use a variety of toppings, such as chocolate chips, crushed Oreos, chopped nuts, or whipped cream.

Conclusion:

Kansas City Dirt Cake is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its chocolatey, creamy, and crunchy layers, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give Kansas City Dirt Cake a try.
