  • Let the beef stand for 5 minutes; slice into thin slices across the grain.

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef: For a tender and juicy London broil, choose a flank steak or top round steak. These cuts are relatively lean and have a good amount of marbling.
  • Marinate the steak: Marinating the steak helps to tenderize it and infuse it with flavor. You can use a variety of marinades, but a simple one made with olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, and herbs is always a good choice.
  • Cook the steak over high heat: London broil is best cooked over high heat so that it gets a nice sear on the outside and stays juicy on the inside. You can cook it on a grill, in a skillet, or under the broiler.
  • Let the steak rest before slicing: Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it even more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

London broil is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner. By following these tips, you can make a London broil that is juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give London broil a try!
