JOGGING IN A JUG

This recipe came out quite a few years ago. I believe it was supposed to be somewhat of an "antioxidant" drink, also good for preventing leg cramps and mosquito bites!!!! It was actually marketed in this area for a while and may still be, but I have not seen it for a long time. It is recommended that you drink 2-4 ounces a day. You may chalk it up to being one of those home remedy recipes! I have never tried it, but at least the title is interesting!

Number Of Ingredients 3

32 oz apple juice
8 oz grape juice
8 oz red wine vinegar

Steps:

  • drink 2 oz a day

Tips:

  • Choose the right jug: Use a jug that is large enough to fit your ingredients comfortably and has a lid that fits tightly to prevent spills. A plastic jug with a wide mouth is a good option.
  • Prepare your ingredients: Before you start jogging, wash and chop your vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients. You can also pre-cook some ingredients, such as rice or quinoa, to save time.
  • Layer your ingredients: Place your ingredients in the jug in layers, starting with the heaviest ingredients at the bottom. This will help to prevent the ingredients from mixing together and becoming a mush.
  • Add your dressing: Drizzle your desired dressing over the ingredients. You can use a store-bought dressing or make your own. Some popular options include olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, and herbs.
  • Seal the jug: Put the lid on the jug and seal it tightly. Make sure that the lid is secure so that no liquid can leak out.
  • Shake the jug: Shake the jug vigorously for several minutes, or until the ingredients are well combined. You can also use a blender or food processor to mix the ingredients.
  • Enjoy your salad: Pour the salad into a bowl and enjoy! You can also pack it up for lunch or a snack.

Conclusion:

Jogging in a jug is a quick and easy way to make a delicious and healthy salad. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of shaking, you can have a fresh and flavorful salad that is perfect for a light lunch or dinner. So next time you're looking for a healthy and convenient meal, give jogging in a jug a try!
