With just a little everyday seasoning, they taste almost like BBQ potato chips! Cut jicama into large chunks to make home fries in place of potatoes!

3 to 6 cups vegetable oil (more or less depending on pot size)
1 medium jicama, peeled
Salt
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Paprika
