I found this recipe a long time ago, and have since made it so many times. It is very quick but it's pretty impressive tasting, considering how easy it is. It's not too colorful, so I'd pretty up the plate with some bright colored veggies, or a basil/cilantro infused oil.

Tips:

  • Use fresh sea bass fillets. This will ensure that your dish is as flavorful as possible.
  • Score the skin of the sea bass fillets before cooking. This will help the marinade to penetrate the fish and will also help to prevent the skin from curling up.
  • Marinate the sea bass fillets for at least 30 minutes. This will help to infuse the fish with flavor.
  • Cook the sea bass fillets over medium heat. This will help to prevent the fish from drying out.
  • Serve the sea bass fillets with a wedge of orange and a dollop of sour cream. This will help to brighten up the flavors of the dish.

Conclusion:

Jamaican orange sea bass is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of orange, ginger, and thyme gives the fish a bright and flavorful taste. Serve it with a side of rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
