Tips:
- For the best flavor, use fresh jalapeños. If you don't have fresh jalapeños, you can use pickled jalapeños, but be sure to drain and rinse them well.
- If you like your pasta spicy, add an extra jalapeño or two. You can also add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- To make the dish more creamy, add an extra 1/2 cup of milk or cream.
- If you don't have bacon, you can use cooked sausage or ground beef.
- To save time, you can use pre-cooked chicken or shrimp.
- If you don't have panko breadcrumbs, you can use regular breadcrumbs or crushed crackers.
- Garnish the pasta with chopped green onions, parsley, or cilantro before serving.
