3 cups Water
2 Tablespoon Black Tea Leaves
5 Cloves
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 small Orange (sliced)
1½ cup Red Wine
⅓ cup Dark Rum
⅓ cup Schnapps (I used Plum)
Sugar (to your liking)

Steps:

  • Add the water to a pot and heat it up. Throw in the tea leafs, cloves, cinnamon stick and orange slices.
  • Boil everything for about 5 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat and pour in your wine, rum, and schnapps.
  • Keep on a low flame and simmer at this point, or else the alcohol will dissolve. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Strain the Jagatee before serving it hot.
  • Stir in sugar to your liking.
