4 zucchini - peeled, sliced lengthwise, and sliced
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 ½ cups tomato sauce
¼ cup Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 1-pound, 13-ounce can Italian plum tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
3 tablespoons tomato paste
12 small zucchini, peeled
2 tablespoons chopped basil

Steps:

  • Heat the olive oil, add the garlic and cook 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil. Simmer slowly for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

1 lb bacon, chopped
1 large onion

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
3 medium onions
2 -3 fresh minced garlic cloves (or to taste)
1/3 cup oil
3 tablespoons butter
1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes, slightly drained
1 -2 tablespoon tomato paste
salt and pepper
2 teaspoons oregano
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
grated parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
