Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your enchiladas. Look for fresh, organic ingredients whenever possible.
  • Don't overcook the chicken. Chicken should be cooked until it is tender and juicy, but not dry. Overcooked chicken will make your enchiladas tough and chewy.
  • Use a flavorful enchilada sauce. The enchilada sauce is one of the most important components of the dish. Make sure to use a sauce that has a good balance of flavors. You can use a store-bought sauce or make your own.
  • Assemble the enchiladas correctly. Layer the chicken, sauce, cheese, and tortillas in the correct order. This will help to ensure that the enchiladas cook evenly.
  • Bake the enchiladas until they are golden brown and bubbly. This will take about 20-25 minutes. You can also broil the enchiladas for a few minutes at the end to get a nice crispy top.
