Number Of Ingredients 10

16 oz pork tenderloin
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp olive oil
1/4 c brown sugar
1/2 Tbs fresh garlic, finely chopped
1/2 Tbs Tabasco sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Stir together first group of ingredients. Coat pork with seasonings. Brown pork in oil. Stir together remaining ingredients. Pat on top of pork. Bake for about 40-50 minutes, till pork is done.

Tips:

  • To ensure the pork tenderloin is cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It should reach 145°F (63°C) for medium rare or 160°F (71°C) for medium.
  • If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can check the doneness of the pork by cutting into the center. The meat should be slightly pink in the middle for medium rare or cooked through for medium.
  • To add more flavor to the pork, you can marinate it in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, herbs, and spices for several hours or overnight before cooking.
  • If you don't have time to marinate the pork, you can still add flavor by seasoning it with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices before cooking.
  • Be sure to let the pork rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful dish.

Conclusion:

Island Pork Tenderloin is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. With its tender meat and flavorful sauce, this dish is sure to please everyone at the table. Whether you serve it with rice, potatoes, or vegetables, Island Pork Tenderloin is a meal that is sure to be enjoyed by all.
