PEPSI PORK ROAST
This recipe sounds strange and tastes wonderful. We have experimented with other brands of soda, but none worked as well. You can also cook potatoes and carrots with the roast for a complete meal.

DAD'S BASIC MOIST PORK ROAST
This is the best and most basic way to ensure a juicy, perfectly-cooked pork roast every time. This recipe really requires a good thermometer -- either a $10 instant-read type or, even better, the type that pierces the meat and stays in place while connected to an outside-the-oven monitor. If you can swing that, then try your favorite marinade or rub on this recipe. Use your imagination on the rubs and marinades, but ensure you bring your roast directly from the fridge to the roasting pan -- Dad's recipe works best that way.

SLOW COOKER PORK ROAST
I tried this cut of meat when it was on sale, and for lack of any other ideas I took suggestions from the back of the label, with a few tweaks (like making gravy). This is a very popular dish at our house, and it could not be easier! Instead of rubbing the roast with the onion soup mix and then adding the cranberry sauce, you can also just mix the onion soup mix with the cranberry sauce and pour the whole mixture over the roast.

PEPSI PORK ROAST
Steps:
- 1. Place roast in baking pan. Add dry onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup and pepsi. Bake in oven at 300 degrees for 3-4 hours. Makes about 6 servings.
Tips:
- Use a well-browned pork roast for the best flavor and a nice color to the sauce. Browning the meat helps to develop caramelized flavors and depth of flavor.
- Don't overcrowd the pork roast in the pot. If the roast is too large for the pot, it will not brown evenly and will not cook properly.
- Use a low and slow cooking method to ensure that the pork roast is cooked evenly and remains moist. Low and slow cooking helps to break down the collagen in the meat, resulting in a tender and flavorful roast.
- Use a flavorful liquid, such as apple juice, pineapple juice, or ginger ale, to braise the pork roast. The liquid will help to tenderize the meat and add flavor to the sauce.
- Add some vegetables to the pot with the pork roast. Vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, and onions will add flavor and texture to the dish.
- Serve the pork roast with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.
Conclusion:
These recipes for Iowa-by-the-Sea Pepsi Pork Roast all offer a unique and flavorful way to enjoy this classic dish. Whether you choose to braise the roast in the oven or in a slow cooker, you are sure to end up with a tender and juicy pork roast that is packed with flavor.
