Tips for Making the Best Lasagna Pie:

  • Use high-quality lasagna noodles. Fresh or dried lasagna noodles will work well, but be sure to cook them according to the package instructions.
  • Don't overcook the lasagna noodles. They should be cooked al dente, or slightly firm to the bite.
  • Make sure to drain the lasagna noodles thoroughly before using them. This will help to prevent the lasagna pie from becoming watery.
  • Use a good quality ricotta cheese. Fresh ricotta cheese is best, but you can also use a high-quality store-bought ricotta cheese.
  • Add some grated Parmesan cheese to the ricotta cheese filling. This will add a nice cheesy flavor to the lasagna pie.
  • Use a variety of cheeses in the lasagna pie. A good combination is mozzarella, Parmesan, and ricotta cheese.
  • Layer the lasagna pie carefully. Start with a layer of noodles, then a layer of cheese, then a layer of sauce, and so on. Repeat until all of the ingredients have been used.
  • Bake the lasagna pie at a high temperature for a short period of time. This will help to create a crispy crust on top of the pie.
  • Let the lasagna pie cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving. This will help to prevent the pie from falling apart.
