Steps:
- Muddle blackberries, cucumber, and mint in the smaller half of a cocktail shaker. Add vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup and fill with ice. Shake until well chilled, about 12 seconds. Double-strain into an ice-filled collins glass, pour the ginger beer down the side of the glass, and give it a brief, gentle stir. Garnish with mint sprig and cucumber wheel, plus a straw if you have one.
Tips:
- Choose fresh ingredients: Using fresh cucumbers, lemons, and mint will give your iced vodka the best flavor.
- Chill your ingredients: Chilling the vodka, cucumbers, and lemons before making the drink will help it stay cold and refreshing.
- Use a muddler: A muddler is a tool used to crush the cucumbers and mint in the bottom of the glass. This will release their flavors and aromas.
- Add simple syrup to taste: If you find the drink is too tart, you can add a little simple syrup to sweeten it. Start with a small amount and add more to taste.
- Garnish with a cucumber slice and a sprig of mint: This will add a finishing touch to your drink and make it look even more inviting.
Conclusion:
This iced vodka with cucumber, lemon, and mint is a refreshing and delicious summer cocktail. It's easy to make and can be enjoyed by everyone. So next time you're looking for a refreshing drink, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
