ICED SWEET MINT TEA

Iced Sweet Mint Tea image

If you enjoy having a soothing, refreshing glass of iced tea in the summertime, I hope you will try my version of sweet mint tea. I grew up drinking mint tea and still enjoy it so very much today. If you don't care for sugar in your tea, just leave it out, it will still be just as satisfying.

MINT SWEET ICED TEA

Mint Sweet Iced Tea image

All the mint sweet tea recipes I've come across call for fresh mint, and that can be tough to find sometimes without breaking the bank. I've come by this recipe after quite a bit of experimentation, and the great part is that it can be made just about anywhere, as long as you have the ability to cool the tea back down after brewing!

Tips:

  • Use fresh mint leaves: Fresh mint leaves provide the best flavor for iced sweet mint tea. If you don't have fresh mint leaves, you can use dried mint leaves, but the flavor will be less intense.
  • Steep the tea for at least 30 minutes: The longer you steep the tea, the more flavor it will have. If you're short on time, you can steep the tea for as little as 15 minutes, but the flavor will be weaker.
  • Sweeten the tea to taste: The amount of sugar or honey you add to the tea is up to you. If you like your tea sweet, add more sugar or honey. If you prefer a less sweet tea, add less sugar or honey.
  • Serve the tea over ice: Iced sweet mint tea is best served over ice. This will help to cool the tea down and make it refreshing.
  • Garnish the tea with a sprig of mint: A sprig of mint is a simple yet elegant way to garnish iced sweet mint tea. This will add a pop of color and flavor to the tea.

Conclusion:

Iced sweet mint tea is a refreshing and flavorful drink that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So next time you're looking for a cool and refreshing drink, give iced sweet mint tea a try. You won't be disappointed!
