Number Of Ingredients 4

2 cups water
1 bunch coarsely chopped fresh mint leaves and stems (about 1 cup)
1 to 2 tablespoons honey
lemon wedges (optional)

  • In a medium saucepan, combine water and mint and bring to a boil. Remove from heat; let steep 5 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve (discard solids) into a teapot or container, and mix in 1 to 2 tablespoons honey to taste. Serve with lemon wedges.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe honeydew melon: The riper the melon, the sweeter the tea will be.
  • Chill the honeydew melon and mint leaves before using: Chilling the ingredients will help to create a refreshing tea.

  • Sweeten to taste: If you like your tea sweeter, you can add more honey or agave syrup.
  • Serve immediately: Iced honeydew mint tea is best served immediately.
