Tips:

  • Use high-quality cinnamon chips: This will make a big difference in the flavor of your cookies. Look for cinnamon chips that are made with real cinnamon and have a strong, sweet flavor.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing will result in tough, dry cookies. Mix the dough just until the ingredients are combined and avoid over-creaming the butter and sugar.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies until the edges are just starting to brown: This will ensure that the cookies are cooked through without being overdone. Keep a close eye on the cookies in the oven, as they can burn quickly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before frosting: This will help the frosting set properly.

Conclusion:

These iced cinnamon chip cookies are the perfect treat for any occasion. They're easy to make, delicious, and sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give these cookies a try.
