Number Of Ingredients 11

1 pound lean ground beef
4 cups water
2 (6 ounce) cans chicken stock (can substitute beef stock)
1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste, plain
1 tablespoon dried onions
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • With your clean hands start by adding 4 cups of water, 2 cans of chicken or beef stock and 1 can of regular tomato paste in a large pot. Place the raw hamburger in the liquid and use your hands to break all down so there are no chunks. Add dried onion, chili powder, kosher salt, garlic powder, cinnamon, parsley and cayenne pepper, black pepper and mix well. Simmer uncovered over low heat for 2 hours or until the mixture becomes thick and viscus. Stir often! Taste for seasoning and spice level; add more to suit your taste. Let cool and store in airtight containers in the freezer. This is also great served over spaghetti with extra sharp cheddar and fresh diced onions.

1 pkg crinkle cut french fries
1 lb hamburger
1 pkg hamburger buns
flour
milk
butter

Steps:

  • 1. Make hamburger patties, one for each person (unless they want a double hot hamburger, this would need 2 patties) fry as you would for your regular hamburgers, season to your taste.
  • 2. Deep fry your french fries according to the directions on package
  • 3. toast lightly buttered hamburger buns on skillet, lay toasted side up On individual plates (one bun per hot hamburger, unless you are making a double, you would then need two buns, toasted side up... side by side)
  • 4. Once hamburger patties are finished, use grease to make hamburger gravy - salt and pepper
  • 5. Put layer of french fries on top of patty (make sure you put enough fries to cover the patty)
  • 6. Smother with hamburger gravy and serve hot!!

Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ground beef. This will make a big difference in the taste of your hamburgers.
  • Season the ground beef well. Use a combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  • Cook the hamburgers for about 4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
