30 chocolate wafer cookies (about 7 ounces), broken into pieces
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
3/4 pound fresh Bing cherries, pitted, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon brandy (optional)
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
1 quart purchased vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
1/2 cup (about 3 ounces) miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • For sauce:
  • Bring whipping cream to simmer in heavy medium saucepan; remove from heat. Add chopped chocolate; whisk until smooth.
  • For crust and filling:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grind cookies in processor until coarse crumbs form. Add butter and blend until crumbs cling together and are evenly moistened. That's how you make frozen chocolate "hot"! You can still make the recipe without it, but it just won't be the same.

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup milk (at room temperature)
1 (11 1/2 ounce) package milk chocolate chips
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups heavy cream
1 (6 ounce) package Oreo cookie pie crusts

Steps:

  • Place beaters and mixing bowl in freezer. (This is for the heavy cream.).
  • Melt chocolate chips in double boiler or microwave. (Two minutes at 50% power usually works.) Cool.
  • In separate bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and milk.
  • Whisk in melted chocolate.
  • Stir in vanilla, cinnamon and cayenne pepper.
  • Take bowl and beaters from freezer. Beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold in chocolate mixture.
  • Transfer 3 cups mixture to freezer-proof bowl. Cover.
  • Pour remaining mixture into crust.
  • Freeze bowl and pie 2 hours.
  • Top pie with mixture in bowl.
  • Freeze overnight.
  • Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired.
  • The preparation time does not include the first 2 hours in the freezer.

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
2 (3/4 ounce) packets hot cocoa mix
3 -4 tablespoons marshmallow cream (optional)

Steps:

  • 1) In large bowl combine Cool Whip and can sweetened condensed milk until thoroughly mixed.
  • 2) Next, add 2 packets hot chocolate and continue mixing until smooth.
  • 3) If choosing to use Marshmallow Cream, heat in microwave safe bowl until for about 25-30 seconds.

1 c heavy cream
1 pkg (8 ounces) cream cheese
1 packet hot cocoa mix
4 Tbsp chocolate syrup
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
1 c crushed chocolate covered pretzels
3 sweet potatoes
5 Tbsp margarine,divided
1 c white sugar
3 egg whites
1 c chilled chocolate milk
1 c marshmallow creme

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium bowl,combine heavy cream,cream cheese,hot cocoa mix and chocolate syrup;whisk together until blended and smooth.
  • 2. Spread into a whole pie crust,sprinkle with chocolate covered pretzels.Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • 3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • 4. Heat a large saucepan of salted water over medium-high heat.Add sweet potatoes and boil for 20 minutes,or until are soft.Drain well and peel.
  • 5. Place in a large bowl,mashed with a fork.Beat 3 tablespoons margarine,sugar,egg whites and chocolate milk together until combined.
