1 apple, peeled and finely diced

2 to 3 tablespoons raisins
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Nutrition Facts :

Tips:

  • Use ripe apples: Ripe apples are sweeter and have a more intense flavor than unripe apples. They will also cook down more quickly, which is ideal for this recipe.
  • Peel the apples if desired: Peeling the apples is not necessary, but it will give the oatmeal a smoother texture.
  • Use old-fashioned oats: Old-fashioned oats are less processed than quick oats or instant oats, which means they will take longer to cook. However, they have a chewier texture and a more nutty flavor.
  • Use milk or water: You can use either milk or water to make this oatmeal. If you use milk, the oatmeal will be creamier and richer. If you use water, the oatmeal will be lighter and less sweet.
  • Sweeten to taste: The amount of sweetener you add to this oatmeal is up to you. You can use sugar, honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar. You can also add dried fruit, nuts, or seeds for additional sweetness and flavor.

Conclusion:

This hot apple oatmeal is a quick and easy breakfast that is perfect for a busy morning. It is also a healthy and delicious way to start your day. The apples add a natural sweetness and a boost of fiber, while the oats provide a good source of whole grains. You can add other ingredients, such as nuts, seeds, or dried fruit, to customize the oatmeal to your liking.
