HORSERADISH SCALLOPED POTATOES
My husband loved horseradish flavoring in many foods, alongside foods, in dips. This was one of his favorite way to have it.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375F. Grease 1-1/2 quart casserole. Combine milk & horseradish in medium microwavable bowl. Microwave on high about 1 minute or just until hot; set aside.
- 2. Cut potatoes into 1/4" thick slices; layer slices in prepared casserole. Stir cream, salt & pepper into milk mixture; pour over potatoes.
- 3. Cover, bake 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese, bake, uncovered, 40 minutes or until bubbly & golden brown.
SCALLOPED POTATOES WITH HORSERADISH MUSTARD
Steps:
- In sauce pan, melt butter ad med heat and add flour, salt pepper, and minced garlic, stir and cook for about a minute. Add milk to the roux and stir constantly til the mixture becomes thick and smooth and just starting to boil. Take off heat and mix in sour cream and horseradish mustard. Slice potatoes and onion and layer in baking dish. Pour cream mixture over potatoes and onions. Bake at 350 til done.
