HONEY TERIYAKI SALMON
If you like salmon, you'll love this recipe! This is another recipe my husband developed based on one of our restaurant favorites. This is now about the only way we eat salmon. Even our 1 and 4 year olds eat this.

Steps:
- In a large ziploc bag, marinate salmon in teriyaki at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Preheat grill on high.
- Place salmon meat side down on grill for 3 minutes.
- Rotate 1/4 turn (don't flip), cook 3 minutes.
- Flip so skin side is now down.
- Brush with honey.
- Cook 6 minutes, or until no longer pink.
Tips:
- Choosing fresh and high-quality salmon is essential for this dish. Look for pieces that have a vibrant color and are firm to the touch.
- To achieve a flavorful marinade, use a combination of honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds. Adjust the ingredients' proportions to suit your taste preferences.
- Before cooking the salmon, marinate it for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to penetrate deeply. This step enhances the taste and tenderness of the fish.
- While pan-frying the salmon, be careful not to overcrowd the pan. This can prevent even cooking and result in soggy fish. Cook the salmon in batches if necessary.
- For a crispy exterior and a tender interior, cook the salmon over medium-high heat. Adjust the heat as needed to prevent burning.
- To achieve a delicious glaze, baste the salmon with the remaining marinade during the last few minutes of cooking. This adds a glossy and flavorful coating to the fish.
- Serve the honey teriyaki salmon with your favorite sides, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or quinoa. A squeeze of lemon or lime adds a refreshing touch to the dish.
Conclusion:
This honey teriyaki salmon recipe offers a delightful combination of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors. The marinade infuses the salmon with rich flavors, while the pan-frying method creates a crispy exterior and a tender, flaky interior. Accompanied by simple sides, this dish makes for a satisfying and flavorful meal that is sure to impress your family and friends. Whether you're a seasoned cook or a beginner, this recipe provides a straightforward approach to creating a delicious and memorable dining experience.
