WHOLE WHEAT YOGURT HONEY DINNER ROLLS BREAD MACHINE
The mixture of Yoghurt and Honey is delightful. Of all my bread recipes, this is the family favorite. Note: some folks think the rolls are a little sweet, some have suggested cutting the honey back by half.

Steps:
- Mix milk, yoghurt, honey and butter in a small mixing bowl, heat in microwave 1 minute. Stir until the butter is melted.
- Place ingredients into bread machine according to manufacturers directions.
- Select dough cycle.
- When cycle is complete, shape dough into 18 equal rolls.
- Place in lightly greased pans. I like to use pie pans instead of a baking sheet.
- Cover rolls with a damp cloth and let rise about 30-40 minutes or until doubled in size. When using whole wheat flour, I like to set the pans on an electric heating pad set on medium.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Brush tops with melted butter.
HONEY ROLLS (BREAD MACHINE)
My mother makes these on every major holiday...and they are always a hit with family. They disappear immediately..so if you're serving a big group of people, make a double batch (but not at the same time..your bread machine will overflow!).

Steps:
- Put in bread machine in order given. When adding the yeast, make a hole in flour and put yeast in the hole.
- Put on dough cycle.
- On lightly floured surface, divide dough into 20 equal parts and shape into smooth balls.
- Place balls in greased 9 X 13 pan.
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cover with clean cloth/towel and let rise in warm place until double in size (20 to 30 minutes).
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Heat butter and honey in microwave and brush over rolls.
- Remove immediately from pan.
- Enjoy this delicious treat.
Tips:
- Use fresh, active dry yeast. Old or inactive yeast will not produce enough gas to raise the dough properly.
- Make sure the water is warm, but not hot. Hot water will kill the yeast.
- Be patient when kneading the dough. Kneading develops the gluten in the flour, which gives the bread its structure.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place. The ideal temperature for rising dough is between 75 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Do not over-rise the dough. Over-risen dough will be too soft and sticky to work with, and it will produce a dense, heavy loaf of bread.
- Bake the bread in a preheated oven. A preheated oven will help the bread to rise evenly.
- Brush the bread with melted butter before baking. This will give the bread a golden brown crust.
Conclusion:
Honey rolls are a delicious and versatile bread that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They are easy to make, even for beginners, and can be customized to your own taste. With a few simple tips, you can make perfect honey rolls every time.
