HONEY PORK ORIENTAL
This is my mom's recipe. Not sure exactly where she got it from, but it has been a family favorite for years. The original recipe is served over cooked rice, but my dad doesn't like rice, so he eats it over cooked egg noodles. It's great both ways. This is a great recipe that uses ingredients that you usually have sitting around in the cupboard.

Steps:
- 1. Cut pork into 1" pieces. In small bowl, combine gravy mix, water, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, and garlic salt. Set aside. Brown pork in oil in wok or large skillet. Add gravy mixture to pork; cover. Lower heat; cook 20 minutes. Add carrots; cook 10 minutes. Add onion & green pepper; cook 5 to 10 minutes more.
Tips:
- To ensure the pork is tender and flavorful, marinate it in the honey-soy sauce mixture for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
- Use a large skillet or wok to cook the pork, as this will help to prevent it from overcrowding and steaming.
- Cook the pork over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until it is browned on all sides and cooked through.
- Add the vegetables to the skillet and cook until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve the honey pork oriental over rice or noodles, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
