HONEY GLAZED PLANTAINS
This recipe is made to accompany my Recipe #373203 and my Recipe #373114. They complement each other so well. But this is good as is, and is pretty quick to make. A nice sweet side dish. Recipe originally came from Aaron McCargo.

Tips:
- Choose ripe plantains: Look for plantains that are mostly yellow with a few black spots. Avoid plantains that are mostly green or have too many black spots, as they may be too starchy or overripe.
- Use a large skillet: A large skillet will help to ensure that the plantains cook evenly and do not overcrowd the pan.
- Cook the plantains over medium heat: Medium heat will help to prevent the plantains from burning and will allow them to cook through evenly.
- Flip the plantains regularly: Flip the plantains every 2-3 minutes to ensure that they cook evenly on all sides.
- Make the honey glaze ahead of time: The honey glaze can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. This will save you time when you are ready to make the plantains.
- Serve the plantains warm: Honey-glazed plantains are best served warm. You can reheat them in the oven or microwave if necessary.
Conclusion:
Honey-glazed plantains are a delicious and easy-to-make side dish or snack. They are perfect for any occasion, from a casual weeknight meal to a special holiday gathering. With their sweet and caramelized flavor, honey-glazed plantains are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
