Very Rich, very Delicious. I found this recipe in Bon Appetit many years ago. I make these only on special occasions.

1/2 cup butter (do not substitute)
8 ounces white chocolate chips
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour

Steps:

  • Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat.
  • Remove from heat and add 4 oz of white chocolate.
  • DO NOT STIR!
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs until frothy.
  • Add sugar, vanilla, flour, salt and mix well.
  • Add butter/white chocolate mixture.
  • Mix until just combined.
  • Add remaining white chocolate chips and semi sweet chips.
  • Pour into greased 8 x 8 pan.
  • Bake 350°F for 30 minutes.

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients in order listed.
  • Pour into greased 8 inch pan.

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup butter

1 egg
2/3 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

This is one of my favorite desserts and I was surprised that I wasn't able to find it on food.com! It's not great alone, it really does need to be warmed up and topped with ice cream to be anything special.

1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cups flour
2 eggs
3/4 teaspoon salt
