HOMEMADE BANANA SPLIT ICE CREAM
I work at an ice cream parlor, and I can honestly say this ice cream will give any store-bought ice cream a run for its money! From start to finish this recipe takes about a day to make, however most of that time is for the ice cream base to chill before freezing in your ice cream maker as well as freezing it before serving.

Tips:
- Choose ripe bananas. Ripeness is key for a great banana split. Look for bananas with a bright yellow peel and no green tinge. They should also have a slight give when you gently squeeze them.
- Use high-quality ice cream. The ice cream you use will make a big difference in the overall flavor of your banana split. Choose your favorite flavors, but make sure they're good quality. Look for ice cream that is creamy and flavorful, with no icy crystals.
- Don't skimp on the toppings. The toppings are what really make a banana split special. Be generous with your favorite toppings, such as whipped cream, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, nuts, and fruit.
- Assemble your banana split carefully. Start by placing the banana in a bowl. Then, add scoops of ice cream, alternating flavors. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Conclusion:
A banana split is a classic dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With a few simple tips, you can make the best banana split you've ever tasted.
