What a great twist on lemonade. Freeze some of this into ice cubes to use in the drinks, so it won't be diluted!

Steps:
- Grate your preferred amount of ground ginger. (I used about a teaspoon and 1/2).
- Put your grated ginger in a tea filter/strainer and Boil about 1/4 of a glass of water.
- Once your water is boiled, place tea filter/strainer with ginger in it into a mug. Pour water in so it just covers the top of the ginger.
- Steep for about 10 minutes. While ginger is steeping, pour about a 1/2 a glassful of (strawberry) lemonade.
- When the ginger is done steeping, cool the ginger mixture down to room temperature by either putting it in the freezer or refrigerator.

Steps:
- Combine chopped mint, ginger and honey in medium bowl; add boiling water and allow to steep for 30-40 minutes; strain into 4-cup glass measuring cup, pressing on solids to extract liquid; add lemon juice and enough cold water to measure 4 cups total.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes; add lemonade; garnish with mint leaves and fresh lemon slices.
- Note: If you like to 'tipple' (I know I do:-)), spike this with some vodka!!!
Tips:
- To make the most flavorful lemonade, use freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- If you don't have a juicer, you can also use bottled lemon juice. Just be sure to choose a brand that is 100% pure lemon juice, with no added sugar or preservatives.
- For a sweeter lemonade, add more sugar or honey to taste.
- For a more tart lemonade, add less sugar or honey.
- To make a sparkling lemonade, add club soda or sparkling water.
- For a refreshing summer drink, serve lemonade chilled over ice.
- Garnish with a slice of lemon or lime, a sprig of mint, or a few berries.
