Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 4

6 Tbsp grand marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 bottle chilled champagne
1 c fresh orange juice

Steps:

  • 1. Pour the Grand Marnier in a small bowl. Put the sugar in a saucer. Dip the rims of Champagne glasses first in Grand Marnier, then in the sugar to form a crust.
  • 2. Fill each Champagne glass with three parts Champagne and 1 part orange juice.

Tips:

  • Choose the right sparkling wine. A brut or extra brut sparkling wine is best for mimosas, as it is less sweet and will not overpower the other flavors in the drink.
  • Use fresh orange juice. Freshly squeezed orange juice is always best, but if you don't have time, you can use a high-quality store-bought orange juice.
  • Chill your ingredients. All of the ingredients in a mimosa should be chilled before mixing, as this will help to create a refreshing and bubbly drink.
  • Garnish with a twist of orange or a sprig of mint. This will add a festive touch to your mimosa and make it even more enjoyable.

Conclusion:

Mimosas are a delicious and refreshing drink that are perfect for any special occasion. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of preparation, you can easily make mimosas at home. So next time you're looking for a festive and bubbly drink, give mimosas a try!
