GUMDROP CAKE
I don't use baking gums for this. Those things are horrid. If you wouldn't eat them right out of the bag, don't bake with them. Don't use any black ones. Ganong are the best-they don't make black ones. The easiest way to cut them is with scissors dipped in flour.

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your cake.
- Make sure your butter and eggs are at room temperature before you start baking. This will help them to cream together more easily.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the cake tough.
- Bake the cake at the correct temperature. If the oven is too hot, the cake will brown too quickly and the inside will be undercooked. If the oven is too cool, the cake will take too long to bake and will be dry.
- Let the cake cool completely before frosting it. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
- Be creative with your decorations. You can use gumdrops, sprinkles, or even fresh fruit to decorate your cake.
Conclusion:
Holiday gumdrop cake is a delicious and festive treat that is perfect for any holiday gathering. With its moist and fluffy cake, creamy frosting, and colorful gumdrops, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give this holiday gumdrop cake a try.
