  • Use high-quality ground beef: Opt for a leaner cut of ground beef, such as 80/20, to ensure tender and flavorful meatballs.
  • Incorporate bread crumbs: Bread crumbs help bind the meatballs together and provide a fluffy texture. Use fresh or dried bread crumbs, or substitute with crushed crackers or oats.
  • Add moisture: Incorporate moisture into the meatball mixture to prevent dryness. This can be achieved by adding an egg, milk, or tomato sauce.
  • Season generously: Don't be shy with seasonings. Use a combination of herbs, spices, and salt and pepper to create a flavorful meatball.
  • Chill the meatballs before cooking: Chilling the meatballs for at least 30 minutes helps them hold their shape better during cooking.
  • Cook the meatballs thoroughly: Ensure the meatballs are cooked through to prevent undercooked meat. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C).
