Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before starting to cook, measure and prepare all the ingredients and sauces. This will help ensure a smooth and efficient cooking process.
  • Use a large skillet or wok: The chicken balls should have enough space to fry without overcrowding. A larger skillet or wok will allow for even cooking and prevent the chicken from steaming.
  • Stir constantly: To achieve evenly golden-brown chicken balls, stir constantly while frying. This prevents the chicken from sticking to the pan and burning.
  • Monitor the heat: Maintain medium-high heat throughout the frying process. High heat can cause the chicken to burn, while low heat will result in soggy chicken balls.
  • Use a thermometer: Insert a meat thermometer into the center of the chicken balls to ensure that they have reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). This ensures that the chicken is cooked thoroughly and safely.
