Number Of Ingredients 12

1 Box Medium Pasta Shells
1 1/2 Green Peppers
1 Medium Onion
2 Tomatoes
1/2 lb. Boiled Ham
1/2 lb. Salami
1/2 lb. Pepperoni
1/2 lb. Provolone Cheese
1/2 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 Cup Salad Oil
Oregano
Salt & Pepper

Steps:

  • Cook pasta shells. Finely chop peppers, onions, tomatoes, meat and cheese. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Add oregano, salt and pepper to taste. Add oil and vinegar. Variation: use Italian dressing with a little sugar added instead of vinegar and oil and seasonings.

Tips:

  • Choose fresh, high-quality ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your salad will taste. Look for crisp vegetables, ripe fruit, and flavorful cheese.
  • Don't over-dress the salad: A little dressing goes a long way. Too much dressing can weigh down the salad and make it soggy.
  • Serve the salad immediately: Hoagie salad is best enjoyed fresh. If you make it ahead of time, store it in the refrigerator and serve it within a few hours.

Conclusion:

Hoagie salad is a delicious and easy-to-make salad that's perfect for potlucks, picnics, and summer gatherings. With its combination of fresh vegetables, flavorful cheese, and tangy dressing, hoagie salad is sure to be a hit. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy salad recipe, give hoagie salad a try. You won't be disappointed!
