Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the dish will taste. This is especially true for the steak, which should be a well-marbled cut of meat.
  • Cook the steak to your desired doneness. The best way to do this is to use a meat thermometer. For a rare steak, cook to an internal temperature of 125 degrees Fahrenheit. For a medium-rare steak, cook to 135 degrees Fahrenheit. For a medium steak, cook to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. And for a well-done steak, cook to 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the steak rest before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
  • Serve the steak with your favorite sides. Some popular options include mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and grilled asparagus.
