1/2 cup brewed hibiscus tea
4 tablespoons tequila, reposado preferred
1 to 2 tablespoons superfine sugar
1 lemon, juiced
1 lime, juiced, plus 1 wedge for garnish
1 orange, juiced
Ice, for serving

Steps:

  • Place the hibiscus tea, tequila, superfine sugar, lemon juice, lime juice and orange juice in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour in a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy.

1 cup dried hibiscus petals
1 cinnamon stick
1 whole clove
1 whole allspice berry
⅛ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 ½ cups raw sugar
ice cubes
2 ½ (32 ounce) bottles sparkling water
2 limes, cut into wedges

Steps:

  • Combine water, hibiscus petals, cinnamon, clove, allspice, and nutmeg in a medium pot. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
