6 Tbsp hersley's chocolate flavored syrup
2/3 c sour cream
1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and chocolate syrup. When well mixed, add the sour cream and cook over medium high heat to soft ball stage (234 degrees) Remove from fire, add vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread. Add nuts of any kind for variety. Yeild 1 1/2 cups.

3 oz (3 blocks) hersheys baking chocolate
1/2 c butter
1 c boiling water
2 c light brown sugar packed
2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 c sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 recipe hershey's chocolate sour cream filling and icing

Steps:

  • 1. Combine Chocolate, butter, and boiling water in a bowl, stir until chocolate melts. Combine flour,sugar, salt and baking soda in large bowl. Gradually add chocolate mixture and beat well. Blend in eggs, sour cream, and vanilla, beat 1 minute at medium speed. Pour into a greased and cocoa'd (use cocoa instead of flour )9x13 pan. Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes cool and frost
