SHORTBREAD COOKIES
1 c butter (room temp)
1 tsp rum or vanilla extract (or any flavor of your choice)
1/2 c pdr sugar ( icing sugar)
1/2 c cornstarch
1 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
optional: cherries, chopped nuts, or sprinkles for decoration

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat Oven @ 325 degrees. Note: (do not grease Cookie sheets) WHIP butter Until Light & Fluffy. Add Flavoring, Whip well
  • 2. Add Pdr Sugar, Cornstarch, Flour & Salt, Mixing Completely
  • 3. Fill your Cookie Press, &, or Drop by teaspoons on to Ungreased Cookie Sheet. (Optional) Cherries, Nuts, & Sprinkles can be added Now, then baked.
  • 4. Bake @ 325 Degrees for 8-10 Minutes. ( Do not let these Brown)

2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup vanilla or white chips, melted

Steps:
