Tips:

  • Use a variety of grains to create a more flavorful and nutritious biscuit.
  • Soak the grains in water overnight or for at least 8 hours before baking. This will help to soften the grains and make them easier to digest.
  • If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • Grated cold butter will help to create a more flaky biscuit.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the biscuits tough.
  • Bake the biscuits in a hot oven (450°F) for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Conclusion:

These hearty multigrain biscuits are a delicious and nutritious way to start your day. They're perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
