HEARTY BEER CHEESE SOUP
I'm famous for this soup. I've been making it since I was 15 years old... It's really versatile, You can change it however you want (I tend to use more beer) and it always tastes great! Great to dip with buttered bread. I got the original recipe from a 1990 Herberger's cookbook.

Tips:
- Use a good quality beer for the best flavor. A dark beer like stout or porter will give the soup a richer flavor, while a lighter beer like lager or ale will give it a more delicate flavor.
- Shred your own cheese for the best texture. Pre-shredded cheese contains additives that can prevent it from melting smoothly.
- Don't boil the soup after you add the cheese. This will cause the cheese to separate and become grainy.
- Serve the soup immediately, garnished with additional cheese, croutons, or chopped chives.
Conclusion:
This hearty beer cheese soup is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a cold winter day. The combination of beer, cheese, and spices creates a rich and flavorful soup that is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a comforting and satisfying meal, give this beer cheese soup a try. You won't be disappointed!
